Maryanne Slavich is the musician
behind SOUND WILL TRAVEL. 

With a recorder always in hand whenever she's away from home, she has collected soundscapes
from some of her favourite cities around the world.

She is the co-owner of Moonlight Recording Studio
in Sydney where she recorded and produced 
Boulevard St Michel

She is currently working on the next SOUND WILL TRAVEL album, Rivington Street, NYC. 

Maryanne has performed in numerous bands in Sydney, including GRAND THEFT AUTO, an electronica trio with several tracks featured in major films, such as Some Voices starring Daniel Craig. She has also been a backing vocalist for country artists Gina Jeffreys and Neil Murray, as well as rock bands such as Tamam Shud,  Ian Stephen (The Slaughtermen), The Break, (with Rob Hirst and Jim Moginie from Midnight Oil and Brian Ritchie from the Violent Femmes).  She has also written several TV themes and jingles, as well as soundtracks for independent films.
